A Special Day To a Wild Rose

Hello, today I started out with simple stamping....... Then MissPink decided to do a little masking and layering, oh well, I can't help being me, and I really like the end card - even if it is yellow themed.... which is so not me! I started with stamping the sentiment, then placed a scrap of paper over the sentimetn and stamped the line image of the flower directly below and above, then added colour with So Saffron for me main, and Daffodil Delight for the highlight. Masking the flowers was easy as I used the co-ordinating dies. I used a Rectangle Stitched Die to give a little detail, then layered on the card base, finishing with a little pearl bling. Elfie..... what do you don on a Long Weekend?

It's been a super busy weekend so far, World Card Making Day yesterday, and as it is a long weekend my hubby thought it would be an idea to get a mini skip and do some "spring cleaning"..... and we visited a friends property and met Simon the cow and saw some lambs. I managed to make my way over to the Global Design Project , and made a quick card featuring Elfie, isn't he adorable! The colour theme was perfect for my card, green with red with a frosty a blue background. I stamped some silver snowflakes and also added Snowflake Sequins and a touch of Frost White Shimmer paint for some Christmas bling. Thanks for visiting today, I hope you enjoyed viewing my project. So Many Stars

Why is it that why you really want to create, mojo can elude you? I was like that today, all the time create, but I was drawing blanks, so I head over to my challenge blog tab and found inspiration at Freshly Made Sketches . My first thought when I saw this sketch was snowflakes,... but as Iooked through my dies I saw the Stitched Star Dies, and that was it, I knew what I was creating! I stamped the christmas sentiment using the gorgeous Silvery Shimmer Delicata Pigment Ink, and then added a touch of Frost White Shimmer Paint over the Pool Party dies.
